Schedule: Fulltime
Shift: days (Monday thru Saturday)
Job Responsibilities: Under the supervision of physician, responsibilities will include but not limited to assist in performing assessments/ treatments. Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection, phlebotomy and documentation of patient care. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking cleaning and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas. Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, follow up / outreach, data entry and patient registration. Knowledge of VFC and vaccine schedules. Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to engage and work well in a fast pace and close-knit team. Every member of our staff plays a critical role in the care operations and must assume ownership of their responsibilities.
Applicants must have the following:
• Mature, self-directed, well organized, quick learner, well spoken, outgoing personality and team player
• At least 1-2 years’ experience as medical assistant in Pediatric Office, no entry level
• Medical assistant certification
• Excellent computer skills
• Experience with electronic medical records and preferably with E-Clinical Works
• Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English)
• Available evening hours and weekend hours
• Salary: based on experience- additional benefits: ability to scribe and administrative skills

We offer a friendly and caring environment and an excellent supportive team. Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred and NJ license is a must. Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible. Also welcome pediatricians who recently completed residency program. We are currently enrolled in the Loan Redemption Program. The Loan Redemption Program provides for redemption or forgiveness of qualifying loan expenses, redemption can cover up to $120,000 of the loans if qualified.
